Liner Swimming Pools are
constructed in many various ways, two of the ways we at D&S
construct our liner pools are:
Panel System
The soil is excavated to
the desired size and shape and around 36 (1.1m) deep, then
the deep end is dug out to form either a hopper shape or a wedge
shape whichever suits best, then a panel system is set up around
the inside of the pool. The panels form the pool walls, the lights,
skimmers, Inlets etc are then set into the panels. The floor is
screeded with sand & cement mix and then the liner is laid over
the top.
Block and Liner Method
The same procedure as the panel system but concrete
blocks are laid instead of the panels and then the blocks are rendered.
We will achieve exactly the same results using
either method, The draw backs of the panel system is the cost of
the panels and the draw back of the blocks is the time consumed
laying the blocks so all in all both methods should cost around
the same to install.
